Project Architect
JOB SCOPE
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Architect to join our dynamic team in Accra. The ideal candidate will lead the design and delivery of architectural projects from concept through construction, ensuring alignment with client goals, regulatory requirements, and the firm’s commitment to design excellence and sustainability. You will collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal team members to develop innovative and contextually responsive solutions that reflect our ethos of creativity, integrity, and inclusion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage architectural projects from initial concept through to construction documentation and completion.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies throughout all phases of the project.
- Develop design proposals, presentations, and construction drawings using industry-standard software (Revit, Rhino, & Adobe Creative Suite).
- Ensure compliance with Ghanaian building codes.
- Conduct site visits, assess progress, and provide guidance during the construction phase.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- Minimum 5–7 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years in a project leadership role.
- Registered with the Ghana Institute of Architects (GIA).
- Strong design and technical skills with a portfolio showcasing built and conceptual work.
- Proficiency in relevant architectural software listed above.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with local context, materials, and construction practices in Ghana.
